Japanese illustrated book

An 1830 edition of How to draw simple fish and shells illustrated by the artist Kitao Masayoshi. The woodcut is older, having already been used for the first edition in 1797. The four images are printed two at a time: the woodcut for the fish’s tail has been cut on the other side of the same block.
